The NTPR (Next Tier Pickleball Rating) is the official internal rating system at Pickleball Paradise, developed specifically for our player community. Designed to reflect real skill levels within our club, the system ranges from 0 to 7, helping ensure fair, competitive, and enjoyable matchups in every session. Whether you’re just starting out or playing at an advanced level, your NTPR score keeps games balanced and meaningful.

While DUPR ratings are widely used, they can be inconsistent across Australia. At Pickleball Paradise, we use NTPR as our club-specific rating system to better reflect our community’s skill levels. This allows us to structure open play, social leagues, and competitive sessions more accurately and fairly.

• New players start with a rating between 0 and 2.
• Progression happens through evaluations during our Friday morning assessment sessions (7:00–9:00 AM).
• Your NTPR rating is displayed in your Playbypoint profile for easy access.
