Community Center Pickleball Paradise Club Policy

1. Purpose

The Pickleball Club at the Community Center aims to promote fun, fitness, and fellowship through the game of pickleball. The club welcomes all ages and skill levels, and strives to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment.

2. Membership

  • Open to community center members aged 10 and above (minors require parental consent).
  • New members must complete a registration form and orientation session.
  • Annual membership fees may apply as set by the center.
  • Guests may attend up to 3 sessions before membership is required.

3. Code of Conduct

  • Be respectful and courteous to all players, volunteers, and staff.
  • Show good sportsmanship at all times.
  • Profanity, aggressive behavior, or harassment will not be tolerated.
  • Players must follow the club’s rotation and game format during open play.

4. Safety Rules

  • Proper athletic attire and non-marking court shoes are required.
  • Use of paddles and balls provided by the club is encouraged to ensure safety.
  • Players must warm up before playing and notify staff of any injuries.
  • Courts must remain clean and free of personal items during play.

5. Court Usage & Scheduling

  • Courts are reserved for club play during scheduled hours.
  • Open Play, Beginners Sessions, and Competitive Play times will be posted monthly.
  • Members must check in at the front desk before using the courts.
  • Players are encouraged to rotate in after each game to allow equal playtime.

6. Instruction & Events

  • Coaching sessions and beginner clinics are available monthly.
  • Friendly tournaments and social events will be held periodically.
  • All events are family-friendly and open to members who pre-register.

7. Discipline & Conflict Resolution

  • Violations of club rules will result in a verbal warning.
  • Continued infractions may result in suspension or revocation of club privileges.
  • All complaints or disputes should be directed to the Community Center’s Recreation Supervisor.

8. Amendments & Notices

  • Policies are reviewed annually and may be updated at the discretion of the center.
  • Changes will be posted on the bulletin board and sent via community newsletter.
